Xbox: 'We can rule summer'

European boss Chris Lewis says he "wouldn't change places with any other platform holder" after price cut.

Tomorrow’s price drop on all three Xbox 360 SKUs will give the console the boost it needs to rule the next-gen battle this summer, Microsoft has told MCV.The platform holder has made a clear attempt to lure in famillies with the cuts, which see its Arcade model retail for £159.99 (€199.99). “I genuinely wouldn’t change places with any other platform holder right now,” said Euro Xbox boss Chris Lewis.
We’re very confident – not only in terms of the price cut but also in terms of what content is coming this summer and later this year."The race is far from over. We've always had a deliberate strategy that we had to secure the core gamers first. Having done so in a way that we're proud of, we now have a real appetite to appeal to the mass market."
