XBox360 Blu-Ray Edition Rumored For Holiday Season
According to 1up.com and Engadget there are heavy rumors that the XBox360 with a Blu-ray drive might be coming sooner than you think. Even with Microsoft's official "no comment" Engadget has gotten their hands on the Economic Daily News out of China which is reporting that Pegatron has just won a contract to build an XBox360 with a Blu Ray disc ROM drive. The unit is also supposed to hit store shelves sometime in Quarter 4 of this year, meaning around the holiday season. It is important to repeatedly stress that this is only a rumor at this point. However, with that being the case, these rumors seem to be getting more and more specific whenever a new one pops up.

MS: 360 GTA IV Outselling PS3 Version 2-to-1
Microsoft tells Next-Gen that the Xbox 360 version of Grand Theft Auto IV is outselling the PlayStation 3 version by a wide margin in the US.

Qmotions, Microsoft To Introduce New Wireless Xbox 360 Peripherals
Microsoft has partnered up with Qmotions to launch a new set of new game controllers for the Xbox 360. Under the agreement, Qmotions will be producing a full array of gear, including a wireless skateboard type controller which will be available very soon.

360 tops PS3 as GTA IV smashes day one sales record
Data obtained by MCV from official UK industry monitor ChartTrack shows that Rockstar’s GTA IV has become the fastest selling game ever in a 24 hour period. The figures – based on EPoS sales data and estimated retail transactions – show that total online and High Street sales for the game hit 609,000 in one day. In addition, Xbox 360 narrowly nudged out PS3 in the ‘battle of the consoles’. 335,000 copies were sold on Microsoft’s machine whilst 274,000 copies were sold for PS3 yesterday.

All of Asia Gets a Xbox 360 Price Cut, Will it Help?
Microsoft announced today that four different Asian markets will get a beefy price cut on their Xbox 360 gaming consoles. Recent likewise reductions in Europe helped sales double and the hope is that the same will happen in Asia.
