I million players logged on in the first 24 hrs of the games release, wich has now gone on to sell 6 million copies world wide.

Sierra Delays Protoype Until Next Year
Bad news on the Sierra front as word has been handed down that the highly anticipated Prototype game has been delayed from this Fall to next year. In a statement released by a Sierra rep, the company basically announced that the developers just need more time
Marvel Announces 3 New Movies - Expect New Games
You can go ahead and count on three more games based on Marvel superheroes as Marvel Entertainment announced today that they already have planned releases for an Iron Man sequel, Thor movie, and the Avengers movie hinted at in Iron Man.
Following the $100-plus-million domestic opening for "Iron Man," Marvel announced an upcoming schedule that includes a July 2011 release date for the long-awaited "The Avengers" that is hinted at following the credits in the theatrical release of Iron Man.
"Iron Man" was Marvel’s first self-produced feature, and has already pulled over $200 million worldwide in only five days of release. The company now plans to turn its attentions to the release of "The Incredible Hulk" later this summer and "Punisher: War Zone" in December.
While 20th Century Fox is producing the Marvel related "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" for release on May 1, 2009, Marvel Studios will sit out 2009, prepping for what will be an extremely busy following few years.
What does this mean for videogames? Marvel has stepped up their relationship with Sega in recent months, licensing both the Iron Man and Incredible Hulk properties for videogames to the house that Sonic built. And if history in games has taught us anything, games will be made based on any movie possible.
So based on the tentative release dates of the newly announced Marvel movies, we’re looking at Iron Man 2, Thor, and Avengers games hitting store shelves over the next three years. And while it’s just wishful thinking, we hope these games fair better on the Xbox 360 than the recently released Iron Man

XBox360 Blu-Ray Edition Rumored For Holiday Season
According to 1up.com and Engadget there are heavy rumors that the XBox360 with a Blu-ray drive might be coming sooner than you think. Even with Microsoft's official "no comment" Engadget has gotten their hands on the Economic Daily News out of China which is reporting that Pegatron has just won a contract to build an XBox360 with a Blu Ray disc ROM drive. The unit is also supposed to hit store shelves sometime in Quarter 4 of this year, meaning around the holiday season. It is important to repeatedly stress that this is only a rumor at this point. However, with that being the case, these rumors seem to be getting more and more specific whenever a new one pops up.

MS: 360 GTA IV Outselling PS3 Version 2-to-1
Microsoft tells Next-Gen that the Xbox 360 version of Grand Theft Auto IV is outselling the PlayStation 3 version by a wide margin in the US.
